Spartan Las Vegas 4.6.13 Brief Recap
No real surprises on the men’s side.
1st place Hobie Call, 2nd place was Cody Moat, and in 3rd was Hunter McIntyre.
Brakken Kraker was in 4th.Washington’s Chad Trammell (who came in 3rd in Arizona) came in 5th.
We understand that there was once again a small group of elites that got lost which included Junyong Pak and the “EverLost Boys” Elliot Megquier and David Magida.
Pak and Magida managed to make it back up to 6th and 7th place respectively.
On the women’s side…
April Luu, who was beaten narrowly by Ella Kocuiba in Arizona, and vowed to be never beaten again, brought home first place for the women.
TyAnn Clark who placed 1st in Spartan SoCal and 3rd place in Arizona was on the podium again with a 2nd place finish.
In 3rd place was Amelia Boone. Amelia has proven herself time and time again in the ultra distance events. She also manages to make the podium in the shorter races as well.
Rounding out the top 5 were Danielle Ross, and Florida’s Angela Cobb who had won the previous 2 Spartan races she entered in Florida and Georgia.
