The newly announced Obstacle Course Racing World Championships made an announcement today to move their inaugural event one week in the future. This was done after yesterday’s announcement of Warrior Dash’s own $100k World Championship event. The Warrior Dash event is to take place on OCRWC’s original date of October 18th, 2014.
OCRWC Founder Adrian Bijanada said
We’ve been adamant from the start that the OCRWC serve the athletes and the sport. This is a simple change we can make to honor those commitments while increasing the chances of success for both events.
An official statement from the event can be found here.
Stay tuned for more detailed reports on these upcoming events.
