Episode 176 – We first met Joel before his second World’s Toughest Mudder, back in November of 2012. Earlier that year, he had his first attempt at The Barkley Marathon where he successfully completed one loop. Since then, he has completed a few 200 milers and several other endurance races.
For this year’s Barkley, he again completed 1 loop before being timed out. He stayed the remainder of the weekend to cheer on runners, and be a part of the magic that is Barkley Weekend at Frozen Head State Park. He was then lucky enough to be selected to be one of the guys to sweep the course and collect The Books. His way home took him through Atlanta, Georgia, so Matt got to talk to him with the weekend still fresh in his mind.
Listen in to find out how it went the 2nd time around.
