  1. You’re certainly right on about Spartan Race being the top dog right now by far…particularly since the number two, Tough Mudder, is not in the ‘race’ category. However, having done six races in the last six weeks, including Wintergreen and Asheville, along with 2 BattleFrogs and 2 Tough Mudders, I can definitely say though, that there is room not only for solid regional races, but for some “race niche” settling as well. All of which I’ve been writing about over the last few years…and will be catching up on in the next week or so.

Enjoying your pod casts…as they are one of the very few places (only?) that delves into the industry aspect of the races too, which is where the vision of the future lies!
