So I saw that Kyle@Tough Mudder has emailed that Tough Mudder was now going to stop using the word ‘tribe’ because of its negative connotations with the colonization of America and the repression of Native Americans. Good on him.
Can I just say that I find it equally as despicable that Spartan Race is (and has for the last 10 years) glorified a city-state that 2500 years ago was well known for their savagery and blood thirstiness. They were also slave owners, brutally repressing the rights to non-citizens. Since they’re now the same company, are we going to see a similar proclamation?
