Casting - Obstacle Racers Wanted - Obstacle Racing Media

The recent trend in reality competition shows seems to follow this pattern:

Take a famous tough guy (or two), and have them host a series of challenges for “everyday” people. These everyday people tend to come from the worlds of CrossFit, martial arts, and of course, OCR.

Stone Cold’s Broken Skull Challenge has had a ton of OCR faces in it’s first 3 seasons. Jeff Rondina, Brenna Calvert, Alex Nicholas, Ashley Samples, Anna “MomStrong’ Arsenault, and others have all appeared, with more OCR athletes to come.

More recently, FOX announced that John Cena will be the lead host (which also features OCR/Dancing With The Stars super hunk, Noah Galloway) for a show called American Grit to air starting April 14.

Now, Sylvester Stallone, has been tapped as the host of a new show called The Ultimate BeastMaster.

We heard from Kelly Castillo, Senior Casting Producer, who told us:

We would LOVE to get the word out to some OCR athletes. They would be perfect for this show!

Sylvester Stallone is an Executive Producer on it and we are looking for athletes, weekend warriors and adrenaline junkies who have what it takes to compete in the most thrilling spectacle of a modern monster. This is the most jaw dropping athletic challenge you have ever seen. This is THE BEAST. 6 countries will be competing against each other and we are looking for top athletes to represent the US. March 1st is the last day to apply.
