What We Learned About 2025 DEKA Events
The 2025 DEKA season details have been released on the Spartan website. Here’s a concise summary of the key points:
Schedule
- Age Group Racers: 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Ruck Division: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Elite Men: 1:15 PM
- Elite Women: 2:00 PM
- Age Group Teams: 2:45 PM – 5:15 PM
The day is structured to ensure clear divisions between categories, with Elite racers competing in the early afternoon.
New Spectator Fee
A $10 spectator fee will now be charged for entry. This is a new policy introduced for 2025.
Ultra Events
Spartan has confirmed that five locations will host Ultra events in 2025. These longer endurance-based events are a new addition to the DEKA lineup.
Prizes
- Elite Men and Women: Prize amounts remain unchanged from previous years—$1,000 for first place, $500 for second place, and $250 for third place.
- Ruck and Masters Ruck: Top three competitors will receive prizes from Titan Actual.
- Ultra Events: No prizes have been announced yet.
