2024 World's Toughest Mudder Preview - Men

Once upon a time, the elite contenders were the only athletes entitled to cash and prizes at World’s Toughest. Tough Mudder have widened the category to allow everyone who stands on the start line to be eligible.

Here are a few of the men we’re watching closely as strong contenders for the podium at the 2024 World’s Toughest Mudder in just a few weeks.

Last year’s male runner up, Michael Schjøtt, reached 100 miles despite a single pit stop lasting three hours.

Joseph Rucco was close behind, also covering 100 miles with a final time of 24 hours and 19 minutes, placing him 3rd.

Joshua Fiore and Christian Brown-Johnson also rocked 100 miles, finishing 4th and 5th respectively.

Brant Bahler ran in honor of his late wife, who had passed just a few months before World’s Toughest Mudder 2023. He delivered a solid performance, covering 90 miles and securing 7th place.

1st Place – $5,000 – Winner Medal – ’25 Season Pass+
