2024 World’s Toughest Mudder – Teams Preview

The team’s category has been changed several times over the course of World’s Toughest Mudder history. Back in 2011, there wasn’t even a teams category. In 2012, they began the team category with 4 person teams only. 2 person teams were introduced in a subsequent year. 2016, there was $100,000 given to a team that could crack 100 miles by Cellucor, and in 2017, we even had a National Team Relay category.

This year, there is only one category for prizing for teams.

Here is a partial listing of the rules : Teams of up to 4 athletes, of any age or gender, registered in the Team Category may compete as a team. A team comprised of only 1 athlete is not permitted to register for the Team Category. All athletes registered to a team must complete the first -and- last lap of the race together, as a full team. Team members must cross all timing mats within 60 seconds of each other on the first -and- last lap.
